Refund Policy

Paddle is our Merchant of Record

All payments for Odalite subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles tax compliance, invoicing, and refund processing on our behalf. Refund requests are managed directly through Paddle's customer portal.

1. 14-Day Refund Window

We offer a 14-day refund window for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date.

This 14-day window is aligned with EU and UK consumer protection regulations (EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), which grant consumers a right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase for digital services.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you have two options:

  1. Paddle Customer Portal: Visit the Paddle customer portal using the link in your receipt email. You can manage your subscription and request a refund directly.
  2. Contact Support: Use the contact form on our website and include your order ID (found in your Paddle receipt email). We will submit the refund request to Paddle on your behalf.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method. Paddle will send you a confirmation email once the refund is issued.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Refund requests made more than 14 days after the purchase date
  • Subscription renewals (we recommend cancelling before the renewal date if you no longer want the service)
  • Accounts that have violated our Terms & Conditions
  • Partial months — subscriptions are billed as a complete period and access remains active until the end of that period
  • Plan downgrades — switching to a lower-tier plan does not generate a refund for the difference

4. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • Access to paid features continues until the period end date
  • After the period ends, your account reverts to the free plan
  • Your portfolio data is retained and remains accessible on the free plan

Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. If you wish to cancel and receive a refund, please cancel your subscription and submit a separate refund request within the 14-day window.

5. Refund Disputes

If your refund request is denied and you believe this is in error, please contact us through our website contact form with your order details. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days. For EU/UK residents, if you remain unsatisfied, you have the right to escalate to your local consumer protection authority or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
